Video processing problems

Some videos not playing correctly in WMPW 11 on VISTA. I am having my movie clips (.mpg) only play with the sound & no video. HD windows media/audio videos play without sound & only the image.

Can someone help me ?

Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack Full. It will install all full of useful codecs ! You can play your videos with WMP 11 and with any DVD player.

I had the same problem too and it was necessary that I seek in English to find the answer, in wmp going to Tools> Options> Performance and click on Advanced Options and uncheck Use Overlays, OK, Apply and restart wmp, it worked for me. Same for VLC, it must go to Settings> Preferences> Video Click on the left and right output disable video overlay.

You can install VLC media player 0.8.6c v indifferently of wmp11. You uninstall wmp11 or not, vlc will work. The problem is simple to set up there report with just the code setting media that disturbs the rest. everything you need to do is to open media player Tool / performance and turn the video acceleration in the center.
