GE Wireless Optical Mouse Problems

I have just bought a new General Electrical Wireless Optical Mouse for my laptop. I don't know what's the problem with my laptop or mouse.... It is not working on it...! Can anyone help with it????

Firstly i will ask you weather you have installed the driver for that mouse as this is not plug n play mouse it is wireless mouse it requires driver to be installed. And i have many times seen that members have problem with it...!

Also check for batteries although you have bought it new there are sometimes that it the store have kept the batteries inside it...& then that batteries are wasted... So try checking new battery....!

Also Check for both the end receiver that should work proper as if the receivers are not working properly.... Check on someone else laptop for that laptop... Check weather it is working properly or not... I will ask you to go & show to the store for how o make it work....???
