Convert vga to dvi-d

i want your help regarding connecting my laptop to my lcd tv .I have a dell laptop that i am looking to connect Lg LCD TV/Monitor but i dont know how to connect them as both having different connectors so please help me and tell how i can make connection ?

Mostly all laptops provide VGA .VGA ( Female) input and where monitor supports DVI-D input. VGA is in the Analog and DVI-D is digital so can not connect them directly.You can convert a DVI-I to VGA Where DVI pins carry both digital and analog RGB but you will need VGA to component adaptor.
