The easiest way for those person who does not know much about computers (like me) is to restore the system at the time of where the pc was working properly for this Just go into all programs, Accessories, System Tools and then System Restore. Once in this program simply go to Restore my computer to an earlier date then follow the onscreen help , Choose the date , press ok , and wait for the sound to come back!

Driver SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio Driver (ADI) is a driver designed for motherboards with a sound card based SoundMax audio chip. The driver is completely free. The official website no longer provides the driver in question directly, then it is advisable to search the site of the manufacturer of your motherboard for downloading this driver.Downloading and installing this driver is at your own risk.

    1. In the Control Panel, start the wizard "Add Hardware".
    2. Click "Next" and wait for Windows to search for Plug and Play.
    3. If no device is found, a list of devices appears. Click on "Add a new device" and then "next.
    4. Click on "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list," then "next"
    5. In the "Common hardware types", click "Sound, video and game controllers" and then "next.
    6. Under "Manufacturers", click "Standard system devices.
    7. In the "Templates", click "Control Devices".
    8. Click "next" three times. If you are prompted to insert the CD-ROM or floppy disks in Windows, follow the instructions on the screen.
    9. Restart the computer if prompted.
