How to connect 5.1 speakers to computer

hi every one
i am having 5.1 audio connection on my motherboard so i bought Creative 5.1 speaker for me but while connecting i am not able to get audio on all my speakers what is wrong why all speakers are not working does any can help me ?

5.1 surround sound contain as 3-2 stereo. This configuration has been standardized surround sound applications with 3 front speakers and 2 rear speakers.check for motherboard manual there must be some help regarding to your configuration make speaker configuration to 5.1 in your software driver

If you have install sound driver for your motherboard then open your sound card program from control panel .now window will appear with connection and three pins that will asking you to select connection by clicking on pin picture you can able to make selection enable front speaker by enabling connect to the Green port like wise do it for blue and red port for other alternatively blue one work as line in and red will work as mic in .

Your computer have these three connectors

* Line-In - port blue
* Line-out - port green
* Mic - port red

Configuration for 5.1 Supporting Motherboards

* Front speaker cable: Line out.: port blue
* Rear speaker cable: To the Rear-Out : port green
* Center/Subwoofer cable : To Center/Subwoofer Out. : port red
