Re: What happens when Duty Cycle is reached for Printers

The Duty Cycle of a machine talks about how long can maintain operative before it needs a rest, or what percentage of the time is designed to be in use. For example, a machine gun can only be able to shoot continuously for 100 rounds before it is due to allow that it cools off. For some machines, it could carry out the mechanism long before which arrived at the end of the period of guarantee if it left the impression continuous.

DUTY Cycle is only a limit recommended by the manufacturer and it does not indicate the limits of the printer, already to establish the changes that the user can do. Cycle indicates amount of pages per month, the equipment can print without operation failures.

Re: What happens when Duty Cycle is reached for Printers

Lexmark printers have evaluated for a monthly maximum of 200,000 cycles of pages, but we recommended the page of monthly volume for the printers in fact to be in the rank of pages 3000-20,000. HP are printers with monthly cycles of 225,000 pages, and their volume of recommended impression pages 3000-1500.

Re: What happens when Duty Cycle is reached for Printers

How to choose a printer ????

If it is printing 5000 pages to the month, and the printer has a tray of 250 sheets of paper, it is going away to him to put new paper in the printer practically every day of work. If the cartridge of toner is evaluated for 2000 pages, that are going to replace two that three times to the month also. The cartridges of toner are expensive. That those of size laser printer probably the Lexmark standard T650n is going to often need its fusor changed much more that 300,000 pages also.

You can look for a printer that can obtain a high performance of printer cartridge that will last a pair of months, minimum. And to obtain a printer that has the capacity to add in the paper trays until a package of week of paper in the printer simultaneously. For its impression of 5000 pages, to try to obtain that the trays add to a minimum of 1000 leaves and an exemplary 20,000 him cartridge of toner that average gives.
