Access is Denied When Copying NTLDR

I got a big problem , its like this morning when i boot my pc i got a " NTLDR is missing " error so i booted with the windows XPdisk and hit the "R" to repair the existing installation , i went commands screen then typed: c:\Windows:copy d:\i386\ntldr after that I got a message saying "Access denied "I'm confused every thing was proper why i got this message there are no password im in admin account , the disk i correct . What should i do have any one gone with this error are there any fix .

Did you enable write access to your hard drive and floppy drive in your systems policy?The Ntldr is a protected system file.after the boot process from the cd you need to type: Attrib -h -s C:\ntld to remove the protection.

You should know that windows doesn't allow standard access to any kind of system files. to get through from this you need to Logon as Administrator or equivalent and start CMD type attrib -s -r -h C:\NTLR, this allow the System Read-only and Hidden flags enabling you to copy the file.
