Hp media center can't read blank cd

Hi.
i am in trouble because my my computer is not able to read any blank disk. Few days ago every thing was fine and working great but now there is No auto play ,nothing. any help?

i dont understand what you mean by Read blank CD, as if the CD is blank then what you want to read as there is no data on disk. nothing to read. This is common behavior.

When you insert a CD-ROM in the CD drive, the AutoPlay feature or the AutoRun feature may not work or may not be available. However, your CD drive may work correctly in every other way.

This issue may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:

* A version of Roxio Easy CD Creator that is earlier than version 5.02d is installed in your computer.
* The AutoPlay feature is turned off in the registry.
* Your CD-ROM drive is using an outdated driver.
* The Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged on user security option is turned on.
* The CD drive is using an outdated driver.
* The CD-ROM driver is not incompatible with Windows XP.

Make sure you dont have viruses so scan with latest antivirus and check for most latest driver for your cd rom install it also uninstall application that creates virtual disk drive like demon tool , nero image .
