How to format ps2 memory card

Can any one tell me how to format ps2 memory card? Theres some data in ps2 memory card is corrupted and now i want to format it. Do i need to format it from cd or connecting that card in reader?

You can format your memory card by selecting memory card unit to format and by pressing L1+L2+R1+R2+square it will show you format window then press yes from that menu or you can format ps2 memory card from cd , After you put e-mule in a cd, only need a few seconds to follow the short menu and wait a few seconds to clean the memory card.

Select the memory card using your PS2 controller, highlight the memory card option and press the X button.Go into memory card manager and look at what scrolls on the bottom of the screen. When you click x button it will open memory card menu, the memory card will ask you to format your memory card just say yes. This will automatically format and set up your new memory card for use with your Playstation 2.

Take out the ps2 disk and youll be at the main black menu,Select "browser" from the main menu.Select the memory card icon from the browser menu. It will show the list of save files you have. select which ever ones you want to delete,Select the delete command and then select a block of game memory to delete that particular block.Exit the memory card screen and either turn off your Playstation 2.
