Printer not turning on

Hi friends,

Everything was working till yesterday but today when i am trying to turn my HP printer it's not getting ON. Every time I unplug and plug in the cord it says to install the software again like if it's the first time I've plugged the cord in, I do install it again but it doesn't print. What should I check for it was working.

I was also facing such kind of issue and i try to re-installing SW the printer was not working. If you're using Windows XP, then click on Start, goto control Panel and then the Printers & Faxes and make sure your printer is set as default and at the same time try to use another power cable and USB cable hope this might solve your problem.

I have try to do that to but still my printer is not turning on can anyone tell me what should i do, last time it was working fine but once i removed those and had shifted to another place from there onwards it's not working at the same time i had check out my cable are working fine. Can anyone tell me what would be the issue ?
