    Screaming pc

    HI,

i have a pc, it make a screaming noise with the onboard speaker, similar to the beep of having loose ram, but the thing is, myself and another technician checked it out, and everything is fastened tightly and in place, but everytime just after the mobo splash screen it gives this screaming/beeping noise which eventually ends like 2 minutes l8r.

the computer carries on booting, so it is not a critical error.

Can anyone help me as to what the error could be.

    Thank you

This might be due to some extra peripheral on your motherboard that actually in use so check for that also check for its setting in bios ...

The bip issue is most probably related to the hardware especially RAM or CPU. You turned the speaker off by going in BIOS setting if everything is working fine. It is also possible that some hardware on your motherboard is not compatible to it. Because of which it gives a long bip sound at startup. Check out for any external device like modem or usb device. Even updating your motherboard bios can resolve this issue.
