Problem MATSHITA UJ-822S DVD

Hi,
I have an IBM ThinkPad T42 with MATSHITA UJ-822S DVD the problwm is i can not see DVD. When I try to open one tells me that it is encrypted mostly this happens with original dvd .can any one help me ?

Such problem can be solve after servicing as there can be problem due to dust so just clean your MATSHITA UJ-822S DVD rom with good cleaner. make sure alignment is proper ..

Make sure your dvd have clean surface and its without scratches also there might be chance of problem in firmware as some original dvds are not working may to do there protection technique burning. so that would be better if you update firm ware..

I have observed that too much people having this problem with MATSHITA UJ-822S DVD that they cant read some dvd so my advice is better to contact service center or go for local service center they will troubleshoot it better .
