Help Urgently Removable Disc Asking For Formatting But I Dont Want To Erase Files.

I need urgent help
basically my usb has been working completly fine until
today when it asked 'you need to format the disc'
but by formatting it it will erase my files and i need al my files as it includes my coursework which is in for tommorow

Do not format them yet, Before doing that try your disc in a different computer and try to recover data using any recovery software and if still its showing the same message then Format it. Right click on the drive letter and click format.

In this case you need to check out your removable disc on the same computer which you have made a write early or else check your removable disc by placing it into an old CD R/W because majority of the time they are able to detect that data available in removable disc.
