You can adjust the sensitivity of your touch pad or mouse. Follow the steps to solve your problem.
Go to the control panel
-> keyboard and mice
-> sensitivity. adjust that and save.
Rather than go to the Pointer Options tab, try the Buttons tab and look sensitivity of double click. If this is not what I do not see how I too when I look a little more time.
There are three settings in the registry correlated to changes in the speed setting of mouse control panel:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelMouseMouseSpeed
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelMouseMouseThreshold1
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelMouseMouseThreshold2
Mouse Speed sets the relationship between mouse and cursor movement when the value of either MouseThreshold1 or MouseThreshold2 is exceeded. When this occurs, cursor movement accelerates according to the value of MouseSpeed.
Windows controls how long you must hold down a key before it repeats, along with the key repeat speed. If characters repeat too quickly or slowly when you hold down a key, open the Control Panel and then open the Keyboard entry. Choose the Speed tab and move the sliders for Repeat Delay and Repeat Rate until you've adjusted them to your style. The Repeat Delay slider determines how long you must hold down a key before it begins repeating, and the Repeat Rate determines how quickly repeated characters appear on-screen. Click Apply when you're finished.
