How to test Toshiba Drive

I have a Toshiba Laptop and at startup it is giving me a SMART error. And so I searched on net for any toshiba drive test utility but wasnt able to find any. So can anyone gimme a link to download the utility to test Toshiba Hard drive? Thank you

I also tried to find Toshiba's HDD diagnostic utility with no luck. I haven't emailed Toshiba but you could try to do that.

Try using Maxtor's PowerMax 4.09 on UBCD (http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/). A quick search on their forum said that PowerMax 4.09 will test any brand of drives. Hope that works.

Did you try Seagate's Seatools on the corrupt Hard drive? You can also check your Toshiba Hard Drive for possible (unlikely) warranty and RMA here: http://216.102.195.13/gcs/toshiba/
