hi friends,

I am planning to get a new laptop. I have searched many laptops around the market and finally shortlisted these two laptops. Does anyone provide any reviews or any information about these laptop ?
Is anyone currently using any of them......kindly suggest

There are many laptops available in the market. Out of this two, I would prefer Dell Studio XPS 16. The advantages with this is - DDR3 Ram due which everything here is faster than the other computers.

Dell has known to be really good. I too have a Dell computer since past 5 year and it still works nicely.

Dell Studio XPS 16 and Sony vaio FW series, both have their specific advantages.

Benefits of Dell Studio XPS 16 :
- leather-finish,
- graphic card,
- capability to upgrade..

Benefits of Sony vaio FW series :
- good looking silver screen
- good Service by Sony
- average configuration..

Both these laptops are good, but since Sony provides fast Service, i'll prefer that...

Out of these two, I would definately recommend you for Dell.

You will notice that most of the people will recommend for Sony Vaio, because the brand name Sony is much more popular than Dell throught the world because of its products. Normally, Sony products are high priced and if you wish to spend good amount of money then go for Sony Vaio. Otherwise, when I compared Dell specifications than Sony, I find Dell better...
