Dell BIOS Password Removal

I recently bought a dell d600, the problem is when i first turn it on found a blue screen asking for password. I restart that laptop and unplug all the device but didn't solve the problem. Could someone please provide me the master password for dell d600. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

• Locate the 3-pin CMOS password reset jumper on the system board.
• Remove the jumper plug from pins 1 and 2.
• Place the jumper plug on pins 2 and 3 and wait approximately 5 seconds.
• Replace the jumper plug on pins 1 and 2.

Is it the bios password or the logon password?. Sometimes this occurs due hardware related issues such as electrical problems or due to inadvertence, such as someone setting and then forgetting the password. You can reset the password by removing CMOS battery, this will flush the CMOS memory which stores the BIOS password and all other configuration.
