How to speed-up the Webcam

I have Logitech Webcam. I have the internet connection with 256kbps, which is the quite decent speed as web-pages opens on the internet rapidly. But I think my webcam is slowing down, it seems that everthing is moving in replay. And that's really irritating.
How can I speed-up my webcam ?

Well, I think your internet speed is perfect and probably it is not the issue that is slowing your webcam down. According to me, it may be your video capture card which is in problem or possibly your processor speed that need an upgrade.

The slow performance of webcam depends upon which resources are slowing it down. It can be either the system or applications or even network. Disable all network traffic. You can set firewall in your PC or router to block all other traffic packets. Start with task manager. There is a network speed graph from where you can start checking.

You can try to plug your webcam directly into the computer so that it will be protected from sharing its set bandwidth with other devices. That might help to increase the webcam speed.....all d best
