asus p5e raid issues

I try to install a RAID 0 for some time between 2 Seagate 500GB (32MB)

I will list the steps I made:

1) Check your hard drives, they work.
2) Copies of drivers on floppy disks.
3) In the BIOS: creating a raid 0, restart the PC and Creation raid with F10
4) Start on the CD with the installation CD of Windows XP.
5) Launch of the installation with press F6 (to install a raid).
6) Press S to install a device
7) Insert the disk in drive A.

Then install windows starts and that is that a message appears saying it can not find any hard drives.

He asked me to see if the disks are well fed and well connected to the motherboard, which is logical since I have been able to create a raid with F10.

I'm blocked ...

You must set the RAID item in the BIOS Setup before you can create a RAID set(s). To do this:

1. Enter the BIOS Setup during POST.

2. Go to the Main Menu, select IDE Configuration, then press <Enter>

3. Select the item Configure SATA As, then press <Enter> to display the configuration options.

4. Select RAID from the Configure SATA As item options, then press <Enter>.

5. Select the item Onboard Serial-ATA BOOTROM, press <Enter>, then select Enabled from the options.

6. Save your changes, then exit the BIOS Setup.

My friend also faced similar problem he got it fixed was to zero all drives. You should find software at your HDD manufacturers site to do that. There is also possible that a boot sector issue causing this and it may be possible to fix by running fixmbr followed by fixboot from the XP recovery console.
