How to check if my computer has bluetooth on Windows Vista

Just few days back i had purched a new Compaq presario laptop, on which Windows Vista was preinstalled. I would like to know that how to check if my computer has bluetooth. Can any body tell me that how can i check out my bluetooth device on my laptop? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct logical solution for the above issue.

In order to find out bluetooth on your system, you need to just Right click on My Computer,then select System Properties and then select System Devices. And finally click on the Hardware option. If your computer might have a Bluetooth, then it will be shown under one of the categories, probably it might show under communciations.

For that you need to click on the Start menu and then select run option. Then in the run box, you need to type devmgmt.msc which will open up the device manager on your desktop screen. Now, here you will be able to see the devices in alphabetical order. But it will show up only if you have installed the proper drivers for it.

Try to check out the BT icon on your Compaq presario laptop, which might be located at the bottom right corner, or another way to see is to find out if there is a FN+F(1-12) for BT enable on your laptop.
