Compress blu ray Disc

I have a 30gb blu-ray disc, out of that only 12gb space is remain. Is there a compression software to reduce size so it can adjusted in remaning space. I would like to compress MKV file which has 40 gb file size. So please provide me any tool or software. Can anyone help!!!
