    PS3 blue ray settings

I have ps3 but i am not sure about the setting for blue ray. I want to use my PS3 as a Blu-ray player for my sony LCD TV. I know the setting made in blue ray affects the color space output via the PS3 but what are the exact setting. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

The setting on your ps3 is depend on setup. At the time of setup it will ask automatic video setting. If it is enable then there is no problem with video setting on ps3.Cinema Conversion must be set to automatic. This setting affect the player deals with film- and video-based standard-def material originating on DVD and Blu-ray.

    PS3 audio Settings

BD DVD HDMI output set to LPCM. for your HD audio.

    D/DVD cinema Conversion - Automatic
    - BD/DVD Upscaler - Full Screen
    - BD/DVD Video Output Format (HDMI) - Automatic
    - BD 1080p 24Hz Output (HDMI) - Off (This doesn't apply to me because my TV is 720p, NOT 1080p, if your TV is 1080p, I believe they recommend to keep that off anyways, but I am not 100%)
    - BD/DVD Dynamic Range Control - Off
    - BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI/Optical) - Bitstream (This depends on your home theatre setup.)

    DISPLAY SETTINGS
    • Video Output Settings HDMI Automatic
    • Cross Colour Filter OFF
    • RGB Full Range Limited
    • Super White HDMI OFF
