CD tray opening/closing on its own

I have samsung CD Rom tray that keeps opening/closing on its own. recently i had a virus which was malware and by using spybot i resolve that.after that i am having the problem.If i insert a CD in the tray then opening/clsoing stops but for empty tray no solution.does any one know what is the problem.does virus is still present?

i have worst experience with samsung Rom and the problem you have is nothing but more common for samsung. my rom was much unpredictable it did lots of thinks like ejecting cd while reading with spinning, auto closing ,sucked inside so just better to buy new one .

Check disc is not stuck in the drive also it is possible for the drive button can be broken .If you are pushing the tray use the button instead.do not disassemble Rom, disassembling the drive will void the warranty also can damage the drive.

there is treads which automatically running background which cause can be your problem. I have seen some malware do this behavior.so spybot is just not enough so just scan with proper antivirus .

It's an old mechanical problem with Samsung drives. No solutions are there except replacing. I suffered this for long.
