MagicSpin DVD RW can't read or play DVD's movies

I installed MagicSpin DVD RW in my computer having WXP pro SP2 operating system, Nero 6 ultra with updates and 512 ram Rig. This drive is recognized on my computer comfortably but it is not playing DVD movies. How can i fix this problem? Please help.

If you ever had another DVD-ROM drive in this system, then the AutoFix utility might help. Also, make sure any remnants of the old drive are gone from Device Manager. Another thing to look out for on the real cheap DVD recorders is that they may not record audio in stereo. Or go into Device Manager and make sure that the volume is properly adjusted and digital audio is enabled for the drive.Make sure the DVD's are clean and unscratched and try cleaning the lens. hope this works.
