No drive letter for Usb Device

I have a IEEE 1394 (Firewire) storage device and when I try to connect it I get a message in my quick icon saying that USB Mass Storage Device found and then Disk Drive was found. What seems to be the problem here. Can anyone help me out. Thank you

The resolution for this is to disconnect mapped network drives or other storage devices, freeing up a drive letter or the previously assigned letter to assign to the additional storage device. If you can see the drive in MMC Disk Management, right click on it, and select Change Drive Letter and Paths, then click on Change. Select a drive letter that is unused and click OK. The USB or IEEE 1394 drive can now be accessible.

If you are using Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003 try this...
    Click Start
    Click Run
    Type in diskmgmt.msc
Find the iAudio drive and right-click on it
    Click Change Drive Letter
Give it a drive letter and you should be good.
