Firmware for Seagate 7200.7 80GB hard drive

I want the firmware for Seagate hard drive ST380011A 80GB 7200.7 rpm. I searched it on various firmware sites and also on other sites but could not find it. Also I think it is not there on Seagate site coz I could not find there. The version is currently 3.06.

Are you sure that the code of the hard drive is correct? You should get the required download from the Seagate site. Confirm the code ST380011A for the hard drive and then check for that firmware updates. You may get it. For code verification, go the bios and you will get there the hard drive code.

A curious question... why are you looking for the firmware? Has it got corrupted or you want to change due to any specific reason? It is possible to repair damaged firmware using the firmware from an identical drive with HD Repair for Seagate. Repairing firmware should only be attempted if the Seagate hard drive is not recognized by the system BIOS.
