Please make sure that your player application is using the default sound card and that the SRS Audio Sandbox is the default device or If you have installed a new antivirus, it might have some issues with the executable, some antivirus programs do crazy stuff to executable files or programs that write to disk. Try removing it to see if there are any changes.

Open the preferences dialog and make sure that the SRS Audio Sandbox is using the sound card that is connected to your speakers and headphones , Alternative try this goto SRS Audio Sandbox control panel > Options > Preferences > Devices > Choose Speakers/HP in the pull-down list.
