Best Configuration to run Windows 7

    Hi Everyone,
Currently I am using XP and would like to move to Windows 7 because after what I have read, it will be much better than Vista. But first I want you to tell me if my pc is powerful enough to run Windows 7 without any problems or not or do I have to upgrade my pc:

    Motherboard: Asus M2N-E - Socket AM2 - nForce 570 Ultra - PCI Express
    Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800 +
    Memory: 2x CORSAIR Value Select 1 GB - DDR2 - PC5300
Graphics Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 GTO - 256 MB
    HDD: MAXTOR DiamondMax Plus 10 - 250 GB - SATA2 - 7200 rpm
    Power supply: ANTEC TruePower 2.0 - 430 W - ATX

Should I have to change something to run Windows 7 without any problems, I do not want the pc to be slow with this OS.
    Totally Clueless! (Well, almost!)

Microsoft has developed a tool, which is still in Beta, to estimate if the system configuration and the analysis is able to hold down Windows 7 without any worries.
This is called Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...1-2497c146af15

The System Requirements for Windows 7 are “1GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor; 1 GB of RAM (32-bit)/2 GB of RAM (64-bit); 16 GB of available disk space (32-bit)/20 GB (64-bit); DirectX 9 graphics device with Windows Display Driver Model 1.0 or higher driver,” according to Microsoft.

I think your config can handle Windows 7 pretty easily and yet it is still in beta or the rc being released you can enjoy the most part of it. Have fun.
