Drivers for Hp Photosmart 1115 Printer

Hi,

I have purchased a new computer, now I am having the problem that my printer does not run, I need drivers for it. So I searched on the HP site, but I didn't found the drivers for Photosmart 1115.

I made the following steps:
1 - I installed the drivers without plugging my HP printer, as indicated by the installer.
2 - When the program asked me, I plugged the printer. Windows has made a sound, not after it happens nothing.
3 - The installation program expects a response from the printer, but who can not attend. After a few minutes, it gives me an error message indicating that my printer has been detected.

Did someone perhaps a solution for my problem?

Hi,

Have you tried with Windows XP drivers ? Have got the drivers CD of the motherboard ?
HP site you will find a number of useful suggestions and you may find that a later driver from HP will work on your earlier devices.

Yes, I have tried the xp driver's once with the software, and once manually but somehow always vista says there would be no printer drivers.

Although I somewhat doubt that this works, try's still times in Windows XP compatibility mode. * The exe right click>> Properties>> Compatibility and then choose Windows XP.

I also have an older printer in the business, which is not for Vista driver. It runs, I just can not use all possible options, such as scanning, I can only consist of a software but it works.
