USB Flash Drive Recognized but not in Disk Manager

G'day, after googling the problem, I still haven't resolved the issue. This isn't the problem where they don't just show up in the disk manager and you have to change the letter etc, it doesn't show up in the DM at all, or My Computer obviuosly. However, it will come up in Everest with the info, size, partition etc. I can plug in my bluetooth dongle, mouse/keyboard, external hard drive blah blah, and they will work without a hiccup, just not USB flash drives, and I've tried 4+ different ones in all different ports. I've re-installed the USB drives in safe mode and I'm still stumped with the same problem. Attatched is what comes up when a 1gig Lexar USB stick is in the USB port.

Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Go Start->Run and typed in eventvwr.msc and looked at System and will found Disk Error event id 7 - bad sector on disk.

Take a look at your System Event log

In manage, it doesn't come up in disk manager, otherwise I would've formatted it a long time ago. In the event log also, there is no disk error (id 7) that I can see. Most of the answers in those threads are able to see them in DM, it's a different problem to me. Hah, man this is so annoying not being able to use thumb drives! Anything else to try guys?

I has always seen the problem with the USB Flash drive which has the large size of data space, it generally does not support and always has the problem, which brand of Flash drive you are using? if it is not been recognizing then go to Control panel-> Add remove hardware and there search for your device.

I think you need to check whether your Disc Drive is connected properly or not....To check this :
    Right click - My Computer
    Select Properties
    Click on Hardware tab
Device Manager : Check your DVD/CD drives, whether everything is connected properly.

If not, then try re-installing or update the device.

    - Go to Control Panel --- Administrative Tools --- Services.
    - Start Logical Disk Manager --- Logical Disk Manager Adminstrative Service services.

These services might have been disabled or turned off. You need to turn them ON again.
