Cobian BackUp 9: differential? How to make?

One month ago, I carried out a safeguard of all my repertory “My documents” with Cobian 9.

Recently, I wanted to remake a safeguard of “My documents”, I notched “Differential”, then I launched the task: thus, Cobian will safeguard only the files which were modified since my first safeguard.

Here the problem: Cobian indicates that it transforms into safeguard supplements and starts again with all to safeguard!

Here my question: How to make so that Cobian makes indeed a differential safeguard?

Every Friday, I make a complete safeguard with Acronis True Image!

I prefer a complete safeguard, in the event of problem it is easier.

The weekly safeguard of Friday is indeed a solution.

But the last complete safeguard of my repertory “My documents” lasted 14 hours! From where interest for me to make only differential safeguards which safeguard only the new or modified files… That will take much less time.

In the list of the tutoriels proposed by Google, I find some that I consulted. But it seems that one of them brings a solution: I will study it this weekend, because there, I do not have any more time.

I carried out two complete safeguards (one per month) with acronis 11 on hdd ext., since I have it

installed, in at the beginning of March. Is it necessary to make them more brought closer, these safeguards?

If one does much of it, I suppose that one needs progressively, to remove oldest!

To remove, how I make? to go in the hdd ext., right click on the file and to remove?

If there is not enough place on the support of safeguard, True Image removes automatically oldest.
