Error message: "Print subsystem not found"

Hi,
I get the following message when i try to add printer: 'Print subsystem not found' Anyone know how to get rid of this?

On the spooler service set recovery to restart. On the printer properties =>Additional drivers button, make sure you do not have the driver checked.

This problems can occur if a third-party program changes the default local port monitor. There may be a third party port monitor that may have installed settings in the Registry causing the issue. Open Registry Editor from Start =>Run =>regedit. Then browse the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors

Remove any non-default monitors except HP Standard TCP/IP Port. If the issues still are not resolved then try removing the remaining third party port monitors one at a time. I hope this will help.
