Front Audio Port Cable Availability

I'm having a 2 year old ASUS motherboard. It's having front audio port for headphone & mic. But the assembler forgot to install the Internal Front Audio Port Cable during the assembling stage.

Now when I asked him for the cable he told that it's not available with him now and every MB needs different audio cable. And when I asked him to procure it from the open market, he replied that Internal Front Audio Port Cables are not available in the outside market. Is that true ?

So what sghould I do ? I'm a frequent Skype user & whenevr I wants to use my headset I've to unplug the rear audio cable and it has became a nuisance.

Internal Front Audio Port Cable come with the pc chase so look care fully inside



on motherboard you will find pins like above pic also if you have motherboard manual you can find diagram of placing pins with that you can do it.

for wire in case if you lost it from inside or some how that wire is not present then go to main market of computer or contact your chase manufacture dealer he can help you ...

It may be due to electromagnetic (EM) interference from components in your case that are close to the cable that is connected between the front case ports and their motherboard header.

Check the route of that cable and make sure it is not touching or very near any other components in the case (video card, and so forth).

I just want to know whether Internal Front Audio Port Cables are available in the outside market.

I'm having a iBall Cabinet + Asus Motherboard.

Please provide me more info.

I'm fed up with the frequent plugging & un-plugging...

I had inquired about the front port audio cable at lots of hardware shops & got the replies that it's not commonly available for a specific cabinet.
