MacBook function keys inverted

hi,
i have a strange problem with my apple macbook,the function keys on Macbook (f1 - f12) are not working properly,when i press the "f10" button it changes screen brightness of screen,For me its quite strange, and when i press the fn key and push "p" i do get a "P'. What has happened and what is the solution?Can anyone help!!!

uninstall all keyboard drivers / software? what is keyboard brand and model? have you checked bios settings.

Open the Keyboard & Mouse panel in System Preferences. In there you will find a checkbox that says, "Use F1-F12 keys to control software features." If you enable this option, your function keys will work like the would on a desktop keyboard. You can still access the brightness/volume features by holding down the fn key.

Go into Device Manager (Right Click "My Computer" then to Properties, click on "Device Manager TAB)

Click + sign next to Keyboard, highlight the entry under it and hit Remove Button. Say YES.

Reboot. Windows will re-install the driver. May fix it.
