Connecting external hard drive to tv

Hello, I have a portable hard drive "Iomega half xport" with two types of output:
    • USB 2.0 plug on one side and small 2 USB 2.0 standard size on the other
    • This output is not.

How can I view the contents of the hard disk on TV?. Not that I need cable. I tried with the USB cable into the dvd but I have only one USB input and the dvd I did not recognize the hard drive. TV is a Panasonic TX - 28A2E and dvd Pioneer DVR-555HX-S. Thank you.

Iomega ScreenPlay TV Link. You can attach any external hard drive to it via USB and the link connects to your TV. It comes with cables and a remote. No burning to DVDs, no computer wired to the TV set.

The only way to connect an external hard drive to your TV is first connect your laptop to TV then use an external hard drive from usb port on your laptop. If you have no laptop then you will have to get a media player box to put your drive into if you do this your drive must be formatted with fat 32.
    Hope this helps
