    rotate or pivot lcd monitor

This fixture is very useful for rotate 90 degrees the monitor in order to see or read documents in in a portrait fashion, there are drivers for video card that support this modes...

It rotates freely but slowly, so it can stop where you want....

Re: Need portrait mode rotating monitors

Nowadays it is pretty easy to find an LCD monitor that rotates and pivots, but they are comparatively expensive and if you don't have enough cash to spend on a new display, you can manage things on your own i.e to build your own rotating/pivoting LCD stand.
The materials needed are pretty simple and it's only a five-step process. Not a bad way to give your monitor a quick and painless upgrade.
step 1 - materials and tools
step 2 - attach the pivotal base
step 3 - fix the column
step 4 - put all together
step 5 - the pivot in action
