| Problem with hp compaq 6730s
I have the following problem: it hangs from time to time, and I think the problem is related to the operating system, or I think it's a software issue in general, because as soon as it locks not answered nothing, not even the task manager.The operating system is windows xp.Some of you never had this kind of problem?should I contact HP?obviously the pc is under warranty .. Thank you very much. |

hi, be sure that it is not the operating system, you can simply perform a restore from the XP partition to see if the problem persists.What makes you think it's a hardware problem?The block happens in particular situations?By chance a few seconds after you lock the fan at maximum until reset the notebook? |

I have not noticed a particular fan speed. Only the pc does not respond to any command, not even task manager.The PC has very little life (is new) and the operating system is clean .. I have the impression that it is a problem of the machine ... I have not yet contacted hp. |

Just because the laptop is new evidence for a first recovery of OS software to avoid problems. If you repeat then you can begin to consider a hardware problem, and in that case you should immediately contact the service. I know that the task manager does not open, but you tried to run it with Ctrl + Alt + Del, waiting a couple of minutes to see if there is answer (and possibly to verify the anomalies of heat and fan)? You also tried to monitor the temperatures in notebook still "not locked"? |

No, I have not tried to check the temperatures that I say, how should I do?There are special software dell'hp? I will do after this test I attempted the recovery, we see how it goes. |

To control the temperature you can use free software such as Everest (Trial), HWMonitor, PC Wizard. |
