    ASUS P6T + CPU Cooler Noctua NH-U12P SE1366

    hi,
i have ASUS P6T CPU Cooler Noctua NH-U12P SE1366, when computer start booting the BIOS reported an error (CPU Fan Error!) Is there a way to bypass this or can I use the 3-pin plug in a fan to the 4-pin connector on the motherboard (CPU FAN), for instance, so the error does not appear or you can disable in the BIOS.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

You can also use any arbitrary x 3 pin fan to the 4PIN connector for connection.CPU fan runs normally only stop the PWM control is not used, this can in some boards but also change.

I think is because of the boxed cooler at the same speed and rotate your not. The motherboard also warns if the cooler under zb 800rpm turns and sees this as defective. for me, I was able to control the hardware in bios set at speed it warns Q fan.

You can eliminate this error: go into the hardware monitor and fan speed. choose the CPU fan, and then choose ignored. Then the Noctua CPU connector, which incidentally works cleanly.

    hi,
did you make sure to plug it in the correct "fan" plug on the motherboard... make sure it's plugged into the "cpu fan" ... also make sure it's running and doesn't randomly stop ... also... did you make sure to put it so it's sucking in and not blowing outwards
