    Slave Drives dont detect

    Hi guys!
I have a weird problem with my motherboard...! Wasn't sure where to post so posted here. Went through all the posts but none has my kind of problem listed, so making a new thread. I have an old computer with 80GB hard drives [40GB+20GB+20GB] and a DVD-ROM. Now my problem is : I can connect only two devices at a time. One on primary master and other or secondary master. When i connect any device on the slave either on primary or secondary, it wont show up in BIOS as well as under 'My Computer', Device Manager and not even in Disk Management...!
    Help Guys! In need...!

This may be a bad hard disk issue...
Go to Device manager and expand the the disk option. Check there. Is your driver listed? If not then go to BIOS and disable the S.M.A.R.T capability and try again? Again not listed... then your disk has died...!

    Hey there!

Ok... Try changing the jumpers. The jumpers settings play a vital role in making your hard drive or CD/DVD Driveone of master and slave. If the jumpers of two devices are configured same, then it will make either one device or both to not function...
    All the best...!
