    Need info regarding popular sound-cards.

I had some disturbance while listening music on my computer. The music file was interrupted with lots of unwanted noises. I got it checked by the manufacturer and he told it is damaged and impossible to repair.
So, to buy new one I wanted all the information regarding the popular sound-cards in the market ?
