Can i use my Internal Hard Disk as a Removable Mass Storage Device?

Hey all...!
I have recently bought a 1TB Hard disk. I have a 320GB SATA hard disk already. I do a lot of travelling. I always need a Portable hard disk with more capacity. Can i Use my 320GB hard disk as a removable storage device or mass storage device like flash drives?

I don't you will be abe to use your internal disk as an external device, because you will need a hardware which can turn your disk [IDE or SATA] to USB disk. And even if you find a device you will need an extrenal power supply. As USB has only 5 Volts of power and the hard disk needs two power 5 Volts + 12 Volts. And if you attach the internal power supply then your hard disk wont be an external drive in a true sense...!

Hey!
Yeah you can convert your internal hard disk into the external Hard disk but... you will need an external power supply too as Fame mentioned above...! See this thread : SATA disk to USB?
This device will convert your internal SATA disk to an external USB disk... It also has an external power supply... But the only issue you would face would be of power supply...

Me again! If you travel by car then you will easily find a travel power supply for the same... Try checkin it out at the nearest computer dealer...
