| Optical Mouse disconnecting itself?
I am using an optical and wired mouse. Suddenly, the red light on the back side of the optical mouse goes off and the mouse disconnects itself. However, sometimes it reconnects automatically (after a short period - a few seconds or a couple of minutes). Sometimes it disconnects permanently. Any solutions regarding this? |

Try to connect the cord of the mouse to the different USB port. If that doesnt work, then update the drivers and see.. |

I think the connection between the end of the cord and the mouse is loose. Hence, your mouse is being temporily disconnected(red light going off) and reconnected(red light beaming) depending on the cord-connection. Once the it is not able to connect with the cord,it disconnects permanently. |
