    Low Disk Space

I have a acer laptop. It got very little memory. I have critically low disk space .
When the warning pops up about the low disk space, I click in to remove programs to free up disk space.
Can I move some of my programs from my C drive onto a memory stick? and How do I move programs onto the memory stick properly?

    Thanks

You can move some of your programs to the D drive, but in order to do that you have to uninstall them from the C drive. Then rerun the install and if it does not ask you were to install the program, then you may have to select a custom or advanced install to get it to ask you. When it ask, tell it to use d:\ rather than the c drive. (You might want to create a "programs" folder on the d drive and install things there to keep them better organized).

It's not possible to drag and drop programs to your flash drive. IF the program could be run from a flash drive, you'll have to install it on the flash drive, and then remove it from the laptop hard drive.
