I have a DVD with the .iso install file on it. I'd like to boot from the DVD but It not recognized by Windows XP I have tried this drive in my other computer their it works fine. I can't get it to boot from the DVD. How to slove this problem ?

If it doesn't show up at all check your connections to the system board and verify the DVD drive is getting power by pushing the eject button. If it has power but isn't recognized, make sure that the channel it's connected to is not disabled in BIOS (when in doubt you can load your default BIOS settings).
There is problem with the BIOS...check out the manufacturers website for BIOS updates and look for anything related to DVD detection issues in the updates.
If it's a USB drive, you need to have a platform that supports USB boot options. If you do, go into BIOS and in the boot order you should be able to select "Boot Other", or "Boot USB CD-ROM", or further still, "Boot USB Device". You may have to enable Boot Other, or something similar in the BIOS before you can change the boot order.
