How to configure microphone, Windows Vista Ultimate, Onboard Card

Hello everybody,

I have a PC Windows Vista Ultimate with an onboard sound card, it is onboard, I have Audio PCI / PnP s "SigmaTel STAC9221 A2 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A -1] PCI "
Well, I wanted to configure the microphone for recording, I hooked ago but says that's not OK that gave support window, and select it appeared that the plug was in pink, I selected microphone and did not work.
I have a keyboard that has input for microphone and headset, then it has a back entrance of the microphone cpu, but I think you set it is more difficult ..
Anyway, if anyone knows what to do ..

Hi,

Goto Control Panel
Click Sound and Audio Devices
Goto the Voice Tab
Click Test Hardware and follow the on-screen Directions

See if that helps you out.
