Pen Drive error Please insert disk

I have 4 GB transcend V30 pen drive when i plugged into my PC and try to open it it gives error saying that Please insert disk in drive E:
i have tried this on my friends pc also same error comes.....
plz help

hi friends actually I had the similar problem..the reason was that the file system of pen drive was converted into RAW ...to resolve it insert your pen drive into USB port...then insert windows bootable cd into cd drive and restart pc...then boot d cd and format pen drive with file format FAT32 or FAT..it will definitely resolve the problem if there was not a hardware error.........all the best.........

Formating the pen drive is also a good option!

hi dude i tried that one also by booting my windows XP cd...but it also show same error that no disk in this drive.....


and its pen drive not card reader so that i can insert any card in that

Hi,

According to me that pen drive is gone, if you are getting continues message whenever u plugged in, If possible please try to Format Pen drive hence if any problem would be there will wiped off, most probably it will not allow you to do this.

Otherwise check whether your pen drive is under warranty if is it so then replace it immediately.

Don't worry, your pendrive will be intact. Go to transcend website and download online recovery tool for your pendrive. Then enter the correct part number on your pendrive when the tool prompts. It will reset your pendrive and it can be used by plugging it out and again plugging it back to the computer.
