Mouse problem in Windows XP

On my PC when starting up Windows XP everything works. However, when moving the mouse to the installed programs it opens whatever is highlighted in the list. There is no clicking of the mouse and will open several programs if the mouse moves over it. The way to get around it is pressing ESC and everything works fine. I also purchase mouse to see if it was the mouse that was acting up but same problem. I don't know what happen
Can Someone know the solution for this ?

Have you try this go in mouse configuration and made sure it wasn't checked for the highlight option.

Hey friends my problem solved i don't know what happen but when i change key board muse work properly.
