    No USB in Device Manager

    Windows XP- SV2, AMD XP 2800, KT-600A

    Hello,

I tried plugging in a USB device recently and it did not connect, so I went into my device manager and found that I no longer have any working (or visble) USB controllers. I did not recently work on my computer or unplug anything, and I checked inside the case and everything is connected properly, as it was before.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Re: No USB in Device Manager

Most probably the cause of this problem is the drivers for your motherboard and USB controllers. The previous drivers may have got some problem or might have been outdated. In order to fix it out, simple visit the manufacturer's site of your motherboard, download and install latest drivers for the same. Hope the problem will get solved.
