Umax scanner driver for Astraslim 1200SE under Windows Vista

Hello,

How do I get my driver for my scanner Umax Astraslim 1200SE Windows Vista to run.

I already have at Umax compatriots and even after driver updates googed it - but without success.

I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hi,

a Vista driver, I see there is not, but you can do the following:

the XP drivers and when installing on Vista exe file right click-properties-compatibility mode to run in Windows XP

Thanks for the information, can you please tell me the scanner because now its out of warranty.

Follow the steps below to clean the Umax Scanner :

• Dust or debris is negatively altering your scanning output resolution or preventing proper calibration of your scanner.
  
• Prevent possibly damaging your scanner and voiding the manufacturers warranty by opening the unit and causing accidental damage to sensitive internal components.
  
• Most cleaning agents used will eventually cause damage to the scanner if used improperly and can eventually lead to costly repairs.
  
• Prolong the life of your Umax scanner.
