Scan disk not working

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with PC, whenever i try to make a scan of my HDD through scan disk i am not able to do so.

Can anyone help me out with this issue.I would be very thankful to him.

Sure i will help you out with this issue try to Scan Disk in safe mode.

Yes i tried to do it i got an error message stating that something is wrighting to my hard drive and can not run scan disk.

I was also facing the same issue i tried to do disable all your startup programs and then restart your pc and scan , after scan enable all again and restart back to normal and it worked for me hope it will work for you too.
